This Privacy Policy explains how Riskr ("we", "us", the "Site")
handles information when you use our website at
riskr.bet. We have tried to keep both the game
and this policy simple: we collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
Leaderboard submissions. If you choose to
post a score, we store the display name you type,
your final multiplier, your fake-money amount, and a
timestamp. Please do not enter your real name or any
personal information as your display name — anything you
submit is shown publicly to all players.
No accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or
password. We do not ask for your email address, phone
number, or any real financial information, because the game
uses pretend money only.
Local storage. We use your browser's local
storage to remember that you have acknowledged the age and
"for fun only" notice, so we do not show it on every visit.
This stays on your device.
Server logs. Our hosting and data providers
(see below) may automatically log standard technical data
such as IP address, browser type, and request times for
security and reliability.
How we use information
We use the limited data above only to run the game: to display
the global and weekly leaderboards, to keep the boards working
and free of abuse, and to operate and secure the Site. We do not
sell your information.
Cookies and advertising
We intend to display advertising on this Site through
Google AdSense. To do this, third-party
vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies
to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other
websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies (including the
DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads
to users based on their visit to this Site and/or other
sites on the Internet.

Upstash (Redis) stores the leaderboard
entries described above.
Google Fonts is used to load the fonts you
see; your browser requests these from Google, which may log
the request.
Google AdSense (once enabled) serves
advertising as described above.
Children
Riskr is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not
directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information
from children. If you believe a child has submitted information,
please contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices and data removal
Because the game stores no personal account, the main data tied
to you is any leaderboard entry you chose to post. If you would
like an entry removed, contact us at

with enough detail to identify it and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do,
we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant
changes — such as turning on advertising — will be reflected
here before they take effect.
